Obituary of Katie Hesch

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at St. Mary’s Hospital on Thursday May 9, 2024.

Survived by her brother George (Betty) Hesch, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Predeceased by her parents Martin and Maria Hesch, siblings Martin (Eva) Hesch, John (Dolores) Hesch, and Maria (Harvey) Fischer. 

Katie was a bright and shining star. She will be missed by her family especially at all the special occasions. She loved ice cream, movies, and spending time outdoors. She enjoyed going to Florida with her two brothers. Recently she loved going for Chinese food with Carol and Doug Kurt, Linda, Paul and their families.

Special thanks to the staff of the Elmira District Community Living Centre for the care and compassion they showed Katie and her family.

Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday May 15, 2024 from 12-12:45p.m.  The funeral service will take place in the chapel of the funeral home at 1p.m. An interment at Woodland Cemetery will follow the service.
