Obituary of Lynelle Kathleen Purdy

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at the age of 75.  

 

Lynelle will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter Heather, son Jeffery, brother Dave (Elizabeth), sister Cheryl, nephews Lucas, David and his family, Robert and his family, and Jeremy, and her niece Jennifer.

 

Lynelle was predeceased by her parents David and Loreen Palmer, sister Michelle, niece Marilyn, and brother-in-law Scott.

 

Lynelle was an avid crafter and knitter. She worked as a Registered Nurse, as well as a Camp Nurse and continued supporter of the camp. She was a lifetime Guider and Trefoil member, and an active member and supporter at Knox Presbyterian Church in Waterloo. Lynelle will be remembered as an amazing and beloved friend to many.

 

Special thanks to Dr. Vitou and the Grand River Dialysis Unit for your compassionate care, as well as the caring and supportive nurses and support staff of 5 North.

 

Cremation has taken place, and a Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, June 13, 2024 from 6pm – 8pm. The Memorial Service will take place at Knox Presbyterian Church, 50 Erb St. W, Waterloo on Friday, June 14, 2024 at 11am with a reception to follow. A link to the livestreamed service will be available on the funeral home’s website.
