Obituary of Betty Anne Samson

Born in London, Ontario, passed away at the Grand River Palliative Care Centre on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at the age of 92.

Beloved wife of Donald Samson (deceased 2009) for 56 years. Loving mother of Jeffrey Samson (Donna) of Kitchener, Brian Samson (Sue) of Hamilton. Dear grandmother of Rob (Sparrow), Ally and Jonathan (Melissa). She will be dearly missed by sister Audrey Gleason of Woodstock and her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister Aileen Connolly and brothers-in-law Joe Connolly and Roger Gleason.

Betty Anne taught elementary school in St. Thomas and London but spent most of her teaching career at Northdale School in Waterloo. She was a faithful member of St. Columba Anglican Church in Waterloo and a member of the Kitchener-Westmount Probus Club.

Friends and family are invited to share their memories of Betty Anne during the visitation at Erb & Good Family Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., followed by a reception in the Fireside Reception Room.
