Obituary of Doreen Grace Ross

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at the age of 93.

Doreen is survived by her daughter Franceen Wagner, son Steven Ross, grandson Nick Ross (Natalie), granddaughters Stephanie Debus (Andrew) and Krystal Beg (Rashaad), and her five great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband Frank, son-in-law Doug, and granddaughter Michelle.  

Doreen was born in Hamilton, Ontario. Doreen and Frank moved to Waterloo in 1971 and enjoyed many years at their country home at the Crowsfoot, just outside of Waterloo. She worked as the School Secretary at Winterbourne P.S. until her retirement in 1986. Doreen and Frank enjoyed their retirement, spending winters in Florida and summers at the cottage on Conestoga Lake. Doreen enjoyed cooking for her family and has passed on the love of cooking to her children and grandchildren. Doreen’s love of animals has also been passed down to her children.

Cremation has taken place, and there will not be a service at this time. In lieu of flowers, condolences for the family and donations to the Kitchener-Waterloo Humane Society may be arranged through www.erbgood.com.
