Obituary of Elizabeth Preidt

Passed away peacefully at Winston Park LTC, Kitchener on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at the age of 96.  Beloved wife of the late Michael Preidt (2012).

Born in Săcălaz, Romania, Elizabeth immigrated to Canada in 1949 where she met and married Michael Preidt in 1951. They settled in St. Agatha where they began farming and raised their family.

Loving mother of the late Robert (2023) (Christine) Preidt, Barbara (Robert) Ditner, Linda (David) Openshaw, and Millie Preidt.

Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Chad (Katie) Preidt, Adam (Kristal) Preidt, Bradley (Amanda) Ditner, Trevor (Jennifer) Ditner, Luke (Stacey) Ditner, Alyssa and Joshua Openshaw. 

Cherished great-grandmother of Brooklynn, Grace, Wesley, Lily, Chase, Colban, Hannah, Rylan, Alyson, Kenzie and Wyatt.

Predeceased by her parents Jacob and Anna (Schmitz) Andres.

A private family service will take place.  Interment at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
