Obituary of Jesse Fiifi Nartey
Jesse Fifi Nartey, age 40, of Kitchener, Ontario, passed away unexpectedly on July 3rd, 2024.
He was born May 25th, 1984, in Ghana, and at the age of 15 came to Canada and truly began his life. His values of love, perseverance, and faith were instilled in him from a young age, shaping the loving father and dedicated community member he became.
He lives on through his children: Patricia, David, Mary, Timmelle and Solomon.
Jesse’s career spanned various sectors, from landscaping to mechanics, construction to painting. His work ethic and passion touched the lives of many he worked alongside, guiding them to achieve their fullest potential. Though he held traditional jobs to support his family, Jesse’s heart yearned to be his own boss. His dreams ranged from opening restaurants to hookah lounges, each venture reflecting his belief in the power of good cuisine and quality time shared.
Beyond his professional life, Jesse had a deep passion for the arts, whether in music or visual arts. He found joy in creating and appreciating beauty in all its forms, enriching his community with his creativity and spirit. Jesse’s humour, often dated yet endearing, was a testament to his lively personality and love for laughter.
Jesse’s greatest pride and joy were his children, who meant everything to him. He found immense happiness in fatherhood, celebrating every milestone and cherishing family moments. His commitment to giving back extended to mentoring troubled youth, finding solace in making a positive impact on young lives.
Jesse Nartey leaves behind a legacy of love, selflessness, and community spirit. His infectious laughter, intellectual mind, and unwavering strength of character will be dearly missed by all who knew him. As he watches over his children from above, Jesse’s memory will continue to inspire and guide those who were blessed to be graced by his kindness and generosity.
Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a heartfelt prayer said in memory of Jesse.
