Moosavi, Iran (Jameizadeh)
Passed away peacefully on July 11th, 2024 at her home with her family and friends by her side at the age of 84.
Survived by her loving daughter Shahrezad “Sherry”, and son David and her siblings Mina, Fay, Taiobay, Azar, and Hamid.
Iran had a very happy childhood in a big family; 5 sisters, 2 brothers. She married her first husband that was a doctor who was raising 5 nieces. They loved and adored her and she loved and adored them. Her second marriage was to an engineer and they had 2 adoring children Sherry and David.
Iran was a self made independent woman and in her teen years, she taught sewing and dressmaking. As an adult, she was a businesswoman and she opened a tailoring and dress making shop including bridesmaid dresses, evening gowns, and tailoring men’s suits.
She loved going for long walks and playing tennis with friends.
She loved children. She was a beloved mother, sister, aunt and friend.
Iran heroically fought Parkinson’s disease for 35 years with great courage, bravery and complete lack of self pity.
To friends and family, she was known for her genuine warmth, kindness, help, and great sense of humour.
Iran always cared about the environment, finding a cure of Parkinson’s disease, and she found solace in her deep faith.
