Obituary of Lorance Walter Osborne

Lorance passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Grand River Hospital on Saturday July 27, 2024, at age 85.  

Survived by loving wife Katherine. He will be greatly missed by his children and grandchildren. 

Lorance was born in Owen Sound and remained in the Grey Bruce area for his whole life. Lorance’s greatest passion was horses, having been around them since he was small. He won many trophies and ribbons in competition at local rodeos where he competed in such events as barrel racing, log and tractor pulls. 

Special thanks to the staff and Grand River Hospital for the compassion and support they provided to Lorance and his family while he was in their care, and to all those who assisted with getting Lorance to and from the cancer clinic. 

Cremation has taken place. According to Lorance’s wishes, there will be no formal service.
