Jon was a bright light in a world that is so often dim. He was my "twin", my brother to my heart, my brother in Christ, and someone who I will always miss and look forward to seeing one day. I love how he loved his wife so much and his family so deeply! He had the best stories of growing up, of falling in love with Tracy. We shared a mutual love for horses - so much that Queenie, my mare, became his horse honorarily. I like to imagine that he is up in Heaven (because I know that's for sure) running with her, no pain. Jon, I've included a picture here - because she is your mare.
So many people will miss him so dearly, but despite the sorrow of missing him here, I'm just so glad he's finally free of the pain and trials he experienced and weathered so admirably while he was here. He truly was filled with light, love, and laughter.
Ride free, Jon. Hug Jesus for me, and I'll see you there some day.
