Robert ‘Bob’ Edward Robbins

August 22, 1946 – August 9, 2024

Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, August 9^th, 2024 at The University Gates Long term Care in his 78^th year. Survived by his beloved wife of 57 years Glenna (Frook). Son Brent and his wife Patty (Fallis), Son  Darin. Loving Grandfather of Tyler (Mary), Colton and Cali. Sister Onia May (Ingo), Brother Bruce (Sue), and many nieces and nephews. 

Predeceased by his parents Norman and Gladys Robbins and brother Gerald. 

Bob was awarded a Legacy award at St. Marys Hospital in 2015 which remains on the walls of the hospital to this day. He received this award for 42 years of dedicated service. Unfortunately Bob's illness was diagnosed just prior to his retirement and although he didn’t get much of a retirement he was never one to turn down a good game of Solo or Euchre with friends and family. While our hearts mourn the loss we take comfort in knowing he is no longer suffering. 

Special thanks to everyone that looked after Bob in his time at the University Gates Long Term Care. 

Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, August 22^nd (what would have been Bob's 78th Birthday) from 1-2pm.  A Celebration of Life will take place in the chapel of the funeral home at 2pm followed by a reception in the Fireside Reception Room.
