He had a lifelong career as a master electrician, and led by example with his incredible work ethic. At various times all his kids worked in the family business and learned from him. Ray played an invaluable role in overseeing the electrical needs of the New Hamburg Mennonite Relief Sale for many decades. He was a man of few words, but always present. He was a deeply committed family man. He enjoyed spending time with family & friends at his favourite vacation place, Chesley Lake Camp.
