Obituary of Marc Wray Pierre Auger

October 6, 1933 - September 3, 2024

 

Passed away peacefully at Freeport Hospital at the age of 90.

 

The family would like to thank everyone at Forest Heights LTC home for all the wonderful compassionate care Pierre received there over the last few years.

 

Pierre was born at St Mary’s hospital and lived in Kitchener most of his life. Sport car and motor racing enthusiast, jazz and 50’s/60’s music fan, hockey fan. Pierre was a daily volunteer at the KW Food Bank for over 20 years after retiring from a successful career as an Accountant for Cello Products in Cambridge.

 

Pierre will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his children JP Auger (Pam), Marc Auger (Rose), and Claudine Haid (Al), grandchildren Alexandra Jensen, Mathew Auger, Danielle Auger, Justin Auger, Beth Auger, and Brenda Haid, great-grandchild Aurora Holmes, and his brother Ralph Dave Auger.

 

He was predeceased by his parents Ralph Wray Auger, Nina Vivian Trebilcock and brother John Philip Auger.

 

Cremation has taken place, and Pierre will be interred in a private ceremony at Parkview Cemetery where his parents and brother rest.
