Obituary of Paul Vincent Reinhardt
It is with heavy hearts we announce that Paul Vincent Reinhardt passed away peacefully with his children by his side on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at 75 years of age. He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his children Dan (Caitlyn) and Angela (Bryan), his grandchildren Charlie and Violet, and his siblings Karen, Mary Beth, and Stephen (Linda). He was a cherished uncle, cousin, and friend. Paul was predeceased by his parents Vincent and Marguerite, and sister Joanne.
Paul was a newspaper man through and through, spending the majority of his working life with The Record. He was an avid reader, and a lover of film and television. Paul was often found cheering on (or yelling at) his beloved Maple Leafs, Argonauts, and Blue Jays. Paul was a proud dad and granddad, who never missed an opportunity to talk about his kids and grandkids.
The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to his nurses at Grand River Hospital, as well as the palliative care team at Freeport.
Friends and family are invited to share their memories of Paul at a Celebration of Life Reception at Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S, Waterloo, on Sunday, September 22, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Parkview Cemetery, 335 University Ave., Waterloo.
