Helen had a wonderful life and was an active member of the community. She spent countless hours volunteering at the KW Skating Club, where an award in her name was established in 1995 to acknowledge outstanding volunteer commitment.
Helen and Tom were members of Zion United Church where she taught Sunday school and was Chairman of the Board until the church closed. She and Tom then joined Calvary United Church. Helen was also a founding member of the Kitchener-Sandhills Probus Club. She loved spending time at their cottage in Sauble Beach and playing bridge with Tom and their many friends.
Special thanks to the wonderful care providers at both St. Mary’s and Grand River hospitals.
