Obituary of Robert James Malloy

Passed away peacefully on Monday, October 21, 2024 at the age of 70.

Bob will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Janice, son Kyle (Tina), brother Bill (Jane), and his sister Pat (Frank). 

Also left behind is mother in law Shirley Forrest (David Gough), sisters in law Shelley Armstrong, Brenda Lord (Steve), and brother in law Brent Armstrong (Carolyn).

Bob was the fun-cle to: Paul Armstrong, Sarah Burley, Adam Armstrong, Aaron, Brent, and Craig Lord, Sarah Curnew, Adam, Matthew, Kelly and David Malloy. Great fun-cle to many great nieces and nephews.

Bob was predeceased by his parents Margaret and Ambrose Malloy, and his sister Marie Bell.

Bob worked at Erb Transport until his retirement in 2019. He enjoyed the Klondyke Trailer Park in Grand Bend for 17 years, and the Pinery Provincial Park camping and beaches. Bob loved his Harley Davidson and was always up for his “Wind Therapy.”  He enjoyed Friday the 13^th in Port Dover with friends.  

Cremation has taken place. Friends and relatives are invited to a Visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S, Waterloo on Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home’s chapel on Sunday, October 27 at 1:00 p.m. with a reception to follow in the funeral home’s Fireside Reception Room. A private family interment will follow at Williamsburg Cemetery.
