Obituary of Jane Pullin
Mary Jane Pullin (née Close),
1935-2024
After a beautiful life shared with her beloved husband Dick, who she held hands with for 68 years, Jane passed away peacefully on October 31, 2024.
Jane left an extraordinary legacy and example as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many. She is remembered for her bright, beautiful, kind and witty spirit, and for always living her life fully and wholeheartedly.
Jane was a lover of animals and nature, and a maker of great food and wine. She was an avid athlete throughout her life, enjoying tennis, golf, curling, and hiking. A creative soul with a generous heart, Jane offered her time and talents to many, including Easter Seals Camp Woodeden, Habitat for Humanity, the Avon Trail, and the Brain Injury Association of Waterloo Wellington.
Our family expresses profound gratitude for the exceptional care Jane received from the wonderful staff of AgeCare West Williams and the MINT Memory Clinic.
In honour of Jane, we invite you to raise a glass, share a smile, and extend kindness to those around you. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
