My sincere sympathy to Mrs. Wallace and family. I had the honour of working with Mr. Wallace at Kitchener City Hall. As a young person beginning my career I truly admired Mr. Wallace as an individual of integrity and class. He was genuinely respected for his expertise, in-sight, kindness and guidance to all those he encountered. I know those around the hollow halls of City Hall will think of him with kind and warm thoughts. May your loving memories embrace your heart in comfort.
Regards, Janet England

Dear Maureen and Family,
I share your sense of loss and grief. I have many memories of Jim's service to the Council and
citizen's of the City of Kitchener. I am especially grateful for his legal advice, his wisdom, and integrity
during part of my term as mayor. For me, Jim represented the very best tradition of a civil servant.
As Jim requested I have made a donation to the Grand River Hospital in his name.
Thank you for sharing his life and his wisdom with so many for so many years.
Sincerely,
Richard Christy

Maureen and family:
My deepest condolences to the family on Mr. Wallace's passing. Jim was such a great story teller and always had an opinion on whatever topic our group talked about at our City Hall retirees monthly luncheons at Concordia Club and with another group of City Hall "senators". I, as a city planner, worked with and relied on Mr. Wallace for his assistance and direction at OMB hearings and planning committee meetings at Kitchener City Hall. He was such a wonderful and respectful person that I had known and to work with. I will miss him. RIP
Zyg .

Mrs. Wallace, Susan, Brian and families,
My deepest sympathy on the passing of Mr. Wallace. He was such a wonderful person. The world has lost one of the best. He was such a great mentor to me when he hired me in 1987 to work at the City of Kitchener. He was a joy to work with, to watch and learn from. I know you will miss him terribly and hopefully you will get comfort from your memories of him. I have thought of him often, especially everytime I went into my husband's office, Michael Deane, as Michael acquired Mr. Wallace's krug furniture following Mr. Wallace's retirement. and it always brings back so many memories for me.
Having been through a recent lose, with the death of Michael, if there is anything I can do to help you with, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. I would be happy to help.
My thoughts are with you all.
Lesley
