Obituary of Carol "Lynn" Miller

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of our beautiful wife, mom, grandma and nana. Surrounded by her loving family, Lynn passed peacefully November 22, 2024.
 

Dearest wife of Gordon for 58 years and beloved mother of Tracey Stoesser (Dan), Troy Miller (Jessica). Grandmother to granddaughters Payton and Penny and grandsons Jeff Stoesser (Brittany) and Josh Stoesser. Great-grandmother to Lincoln and Violet. Sister to Larry Howes (Sandra deceased). Sister-in-law to Marilyn Eves (Royce deceased), Darrell Miller, and Margie Miller (Ron deceased).  Predeceased by her parents Royale and Mabel Howes, and in-laws Doug and Reta Miller.

Lynn was employed with Canada Health & Accident Assurance followed by a 27 year career with the City of Waterloo.

Lynn enjoyed spending time in her gardens and sitting on the dock at the cottage reading a book. She was inseparable from her lifelong partner, best friend, and husband, Gordon. She cherished the time she spent with family and friends and most of all her pride and joy, her 2 beautiful grand daughters.

She will be fondly remembered for her huge heart and her ability to see the good in everyone.  She was loved by so many and had the kindest soul.  She put her family ahead of everything and made sure we had the best life possible.

We would like to take this time to thank all the wonderful staff at Hospice Waterloo and the doctors and nurses at Grand River Hospital and Cancer Centre.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday, November 30^th from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
