Obituary of Leo van Bodegom

Peacefully passed away at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, surrounded by his family on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at the age of 78 years.

Cherished husband of the late Elizabeth (nee van Middelkoop) van Bodegom (2022).  Dear father of Michael (Mira), Brian (Heidi) and Denise. Cherished grandfather of Keira, Smitty, Mason, Hannah and Arianna.  Will be fondly remembered by many siblings, cousins, extended family and friends.

Leo was a longtime member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church.

The van Bodegom family will receive relatives and friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street S., Waterloo, on Thursday, December 5, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The interment will be held at Memory Gardens, Breslau, on Friday, December 6, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. followed by a Memorial Service at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 54 Queen St. N, Kitchener, at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Wendy Paterson officiating. A reception will follow in the church hall.
