Passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 15, 2024 at the age of 85.
Lynn was born and raised in Montreal. When she was 16, she joined Bell Canada working in the mail room. Over the next 38 years, she worked her way up through the ranks and retired as a senior executive specializing in public relations. In the 1970s, she accepted a promotion that involved moving to Toronto, where her parents followed soon after.
Lynn’s work allowed her to travel the world. For many years she spent holidays in Florida at her seaside condominium, often accompanied by her parents, to whom she was extremely devoted. She loved skiing, playing tennis, and was a talented golfer. Lynn was gregarious and always enjoyed spending time with family and friends, whenever she could, wherever they lived. She was also an avid reader and enjoyed theatre and musicals very much.
Lynn was predeceased by her parents Mildred and Robert Berry. Soon after her father passed away in Toronto, she moved to Waterloo to be closer to her aunt and uncle and cousins. She embraced her new community, volunteering at various organizations over the years.
Lynn was always grateful and content with the choices she made, and the opportunities that came forth. She loved her life in so many ways, and she will be deeply missed.
