Obituary of Hope Fayette Eaton
April 18, 1934 – December 24, 2024
Hope Fayette Eaton danced into the world and left it as she came – a gentle, intelligent and beautiful soul who embraced everyone she met. She loved unconditionally, offering her wisdom and support to anyone who needed it. A feminist and fierce advocate for many causes and people, Hope’s unwavering belief in human dignity shaped her own and so many others’ lives.
Hope leaves behind her honeybun of 70 years Dennis Eaton, her four "challenging” (aren’t we all) kids - Michael, Helen-May, Richard and Christopher - and their partners, children and grandchildren. To honour Hope, we will continue to learn from her example of how to practice such love. We also invite you to celebrate Hope’s life at Mount Zion Lutheran Church, which will be announced in the coming weeks, and again this summer where her life began in Upper Branch, Nova Scotia.
In lieu of flowers, condolences for the family or memorial donations to the K-W Working Centre may be arranged through www.erbgood.com.
