Gordon will also forever remain in the hearts of many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Gordon worked for many years in the family business, Waterloo Produce. He then moved to his second career at Seagrams Distillery. His greatest accomplishment came on the baseball diamonds, hockey arenas and bowling alleys, in the city of Waterloo. He was a volunteer coach for 36 years and was awarded the Waterloo Minor Sports Award in 1967 and 1984. In 1998, he was one of only two to be recognized for his long-term service to youth in minor baseball. He was always proud of those he coached and those that went on to volunteer as coaches themselves.
The family extends a special thank you to the Kincardine EMS and the staff at South Bruce Grey Health Centre for their care and compassion.
