I spent many happy hours working alongside,Ken when we were at The Canadian Magazine. Not only was he a great shooter, he could show his skills in any category, whether it be fashion (he was one of my faves when I was editor of the mag), sport, portrait, landscape, action or even strange news features, like hunting for the susquatch, which, when I was a writer, we spent several fruitless days cursing in the wilds of B.C. To show how adaptable he was, while covering a dumb event in which Paul Rimstead was supposed to be paddling but floundering instead,Ken tossed Paul overboard, seized paddle and went on to victory.
My condolences, and those of my wife, Joan, who also worked at the mag, to all of Ken's family.
