Obituary of William Alton Rowe

It is with immense sadness that we announce Bill’s sudden passing on Saturday, January 4, 2025.

Our world is shattered.

Bill was born in Burlington, Ontario, on June 19, 1967, as Alan McKay, and was adopted by William Frank and Barabra Joan Rowe. He grew up in Burkes Falls and Kitchener, Ontario, where he touched many lives. He was a hard worker, devoted and loving husband, father and friend. He spent his last 15 years working at Traction, UAP locally. He was loved by his family immensely and was a kind-hearted soul.

Bill is survived by his wife of 25 years, Amy Striegel, and his children Emily Rowe and Noah Rowe, Megan (Kent) Schneider, Natasha (Keaton) Riley.  Grandchildren, Westley Noel and Rachel Clements and soon to be Baby Riley. His Mother in-law Gail Barlow.

Bill will be missed immensely by all his extended family, friends, and the many lives he touched.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Sunday, January 12, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. The funeral service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 3:00 p.m.
