Della was and is a vital part of her cottage at Sauble Beach a place she loved for many years. Today we burned a candle in front of her cottage and will continue to over this holiday weekend. This afternoon Bet and Don and Sandy and I raised ourglasses in memory of Della, we told stories, we honoured her memory with smiles. Della thanks that we knew you and shared so much at Sauble.

Dear Harold, Theresa, Jeannie, Gail, Cleo, Perry, Colleen and Paulette, and families, Please accept my sincere sympathy and prayers at the passing of dear Della. I have so many happy memories of her warmth and joy of living. As a child and teen I remember her presence at Grandpa and Grandma Voisin's, and especially the care she showed for Grandpa after the death of Grandma. Her support of my vocation to the priesthood is cherished by me, and this encouragement continued throughout our friendship. I was happy to have accompanied her on various occasions when she was hospitalized and was in need of spiritual 'medicine'. My most recent memory is of the 65th Wedding Anniversary Mass in St. Clement's, and the family dinner in your home. I will begin to remember Della in my Masses, as I did this morning. Her faith in the resurrection of Jesus is now fulfilled in her sharing in the eternal life with God. May this belief be a source of consolation and peace for all of you as you gather to celebrate her life. She was dedicated to all of you. She contributed to her faith community in choir and so many other services. I will remember all of you in a special way on Monday when you gather to celebrate the Mass of the Resurrection. God bless you all! Rev. Paul S. Voisin, C.R., Pastor, St. Patrick's Parish, Vicar General of the Diocese of Hamilton in Bermuda

I never met Della but knew all about her from her devoted and loving daughter Gail. May your sense of loss soften as your memories keep her near. May the light of God shine upon her face welcoming her into His kingdom and may she rest in peace. With sympathy, Mary Kelly
