Obituary of Ortrud Baus

BAUS, Ortrud Passed away following a courageous battle with cancer, at Lisaard House, Cambridge on Thursday, October 6, 2011 at the age of 74. Ortrud is survived by her beloved husband Heinz of 54 years, her daughter Carmen and husband Andre Kula and son Oliver and wife Sonia Boudreault, as well as her grandchildren Christopher (Alexandra), Mark (Trang), Michelle and Charlotte. She was predeceased by her brother Heinz Heekmann. Ortrud's legacy will live on in her family and she will be remembered as a classy lady and an exceptional cook. The funeral service will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 1:00 pm. A reception will follow in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home. Cremation will have taken place and a private family interment will be at a later date.
