Obituary of Esther Magnussen

Passed away peacefully with her children by her side at Parkwood Mennonite Home in Waterloo on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at the age of 96. Dearly loved mother of Richard (Marilyn) Magnussen and Alice Schulz (Karl). Loving grandmother of Kelly (Kim), Lisa (Nathan), Laura (Josh), Brad, Mike, and Jeff and great-grandmother of nine. Predeceased by her husband Ingwer (Ginger) Magnussen; sisters, Ruth Ellis and Vera Hayne; and brothers, Clarence and Russel. Relatives and friends are invited to share memories during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, October 12 from 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday, October 13 from 9:30-10:15 a.m. The funeral service will follow the visitation in the Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m., Thursday with Pastor Robert Snell officiating. A reception will immediately follow the service in the funeral home's Fireside Reception Room. Interment at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
