The fondest memory of my Aunt Jean was dropping around for a visit and sitting at her kitchen table with a cup of coffee and have her go over her amazing stories about her kids. We would laugh together about how family memories make us smile. She ewas so proud of her kids and loved her grandchildren to pieces. She has always been an amazing role model for me. I miss her.

To the Preiss family: I have been working on the Preiss genealogy for several years, my great grandfather being John Preiss of Clifford, your great great grandfather. I had met your mother and father once while visiting with my mother to your grandmother Hilda many years ago. I visited your uncle Ron a few years ago but regrettably did not get around to your mother Jean. If any of the family wishes information regarding their Preiss heritage I would gladly share the research that goes back to when the original Heinrich Preiss came to Canada. Thinking of you all during this tough time. Your Mom was such a kind, gentle lady, proud of her sons. I have fond memories of many dinners and Christmas Eves at Roslin Street. She was a calm, gracious hostess during those busy times which made for very pleasant family get-togethers.
