Obituary of Beatrice Schmidt

Passed away at Sunnyside Home in Kitchener on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at the age of 93. Beatrice is survived by her son, Glen Schmidt; daughter-in-law, Kim Schmidt; and grandchildren, Nathan and Sarah. Dear sister-in-law of Elenor Schmidt. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Nile Schmidt in 1981; son, Brian Schmidt in 2005; parents, Milford and Pearl (Huehn) Ruby; sister and brother-in-law Hazel and Arnold Haapala; and brother and sister-in-law Roy and Doris Ruby. Relatives and friends are invited to share memories of Beatrice during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, October 27 from 7-9 p.m. and on Friday, October 28 from 10-10:45 a.m. The funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Richard Kopanke officiating. A luncheon will follow the service in the funeral home's Fireside Reception Room. Private interment at Riverside Cemetery, New Hamburg.
