Obituary of Hubert Dietrich

Passed away at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at the age of 79. Hubert is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Roslyn (nee Lorentz). Loving father of Randy (Annette), Brenda Dietrich (Bruce Ball), Cheryl Dietrich, and Roger Dietrich (Debbie Abt). Proud grandfather of Joseph and Robert Dietrich and Amanda Jaloba. Survived by brother Wilfred, sister Mary Cremasco, brother Alfred (Loreen), sister Rita (Vern Starra), sister Carol, sisters-in-law Marion, Olive, Evelyn, Grace, Gloria and Pat. He will be greatly missed by his in-laws Albert Lorentz (Linda), Bonnie Lidstone (Larry), Sister Joyce Lorentz, Judy Nickl, Pat Gohl (Leonard), Marilyn Schleimer (Al), Milly Eckert (Bob) and Carl Sherrer (Doreen). Predeceased by parents Peter and Clara (Hauck); brothers Gordon, Harold, Clare, Carl, Edward, Howard, Clayton and Peter; sister Lorraine; parents-in-law Albert, Lucy and Vi Lorentz; brothers-in-law Elmer Lipskie, Victor Cremasco and Peter Nickl; sisters-in-law Ellen, Audrey, Mary Pat and Shirley. Hubert was retired and a former long-time employee of Waterloo Manufacturing Company. He loved fishing and hunting and was a member of the Greenwood Rod and Gun Club. He was also a member of St. Michael's RC church. Visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, October 28 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 8:45 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael's RC church, 240 Hemlock Street, Waterloo (at University Ave.) on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Con O'Mahony as Celebrant. Interment at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
