Obituary of Gordon Jannison

Born June 26, 1921, Gordon passed away on Friday, November 4, 2011 at Caressant Care in Arthur, age 90 years. Gordon was the son of the late Mary and Edmond Jannison. He is survived by his brother Jack of Sault Ste. Marie and also many nieces and nephews that will truly miss him. Gordon will be sadly missed by his good friends Ruth Ann and Jim Reist who cared for him for 20 years. Predeceased by siblings David, Thelma, Lorne, Vera, Ernest, Fern and Ross. Gordon was a faithful member of The Salvation Army in Kitchener. Visitation for Gordon will take place on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home 171 King St. S., Waterloo from 1 pm until 1:45 pm. The funeral service to celebrate his life and faith will take place in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday following the visitation at 2 pm with Major Ivan McNeilly officiating. A reception will follow the service in the Fireside Reception Room. Interment at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
