Obituary of Rhoda Myra

Passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Trinity Village Care Centre, age 88 years. Wife of Reverend Wilfred Myra. Mother of Keith (Cheryl) of Waterloo, James (Judy) of Louisville, Colorado and Eric of Ann Arbor, Michigan. Will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Tim, Aly, Elizabeth and Anna Marie. Predeceased by sister Gertrude Leupold and brother Fred Daber. A graduate of Waterloo College (affiliated with the University of Western Ontario) and also a graduate of the Ontario College of Education; a volunteer with the Laubach Literacy Program and the Women's Inter-Church Council of Canada; also a devoted member of the Evangelical Lutheran Women. Mrs. Myra's family will receive friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service to celebrate her life and faith will take place on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at 11 am from St. Matthews Lutheran Church 54 Benton St., Kitchener with Rev. David Malina officiating. Reception to follow in the church hall. Interment at Williamsburg Cemetery, Kitchener.
