Obituary of Lloyd Renwick

September 8, 1924 - November 28, 2011 Passed away peacefully at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, surrounded by family on Monday, November 28, 2011 at the age of 87 years. He will be sadly missed but not forgotten by his wife Dorothy, his children (best pal) Pamela, Betty (Richard), Linda (John) and Mac (Grace); Grandchildren, Kelly, Yolanda and Jennifer. Survived by brother Royal (Leila) of Cornwall. Predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Martha (Towes) Renwick; his sisters Hazel and Jean and his brothers Garnet, Earl and Albert. Born in Dalkeith, Ontario in 1924 on a dairy farm and later moved to Waterloo and retired from the University of Waterloo in 1989. However he was always a farmer at heart. I AM WITH YOU STILL I give you this one thought to keep I am with you still - do not weep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn's rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush, I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not think of me as gone - I am still with you still - in each new dawn. Friends are invited to share their memories of Lloyd with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, December 2, 2011 from 12 noon until 1 p.m. The funeral service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 1 p.m. Guests are invited to remain for a reception at the funeral home immediately following the service.
