Obituary of Scott Dougherty

Passed away unexpectedly, at his home in Kitchener on Monday, November 28, 2011, in his 55th year. Loving husband of Karen, having celebrated 24 years together and step-dad of Sarah Laurette, Chris Laurette, and Adam Laurette. Scott is survived by his children, Kristen Dougherty (wife Shannon and daughter Makayla), Adam Dougherty, and Andrew Dougherty. Grandpa to Milo and Oliver. Scott is also survived by his loving mother, Evelyn Dougherty and his brothers and sisters, Chris, Bruce, Conrad (Sue), Keith (Julie), Kelly (Chrissy), Lois (John) Storozuk, and Alison (Dave) Wilhelm. He will always be remembered by his many nieces, nephews, and friends. Predeceased by his father, Raymond Dougherty. Scott was employed with BNE Contractors in Kitchener for the past 10 years. He will be remembered for his unique wit and sarcasm and his love of music, reading, and woodworking. Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, December 2 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 4 p.m. A reception will immediately follow the service in the funeral home's Fireside Reception Room.
