Obituary of Gloria Wideman

Went on to her eternal life on Monday, December 5, 2011. Cherished mother and grandmother of Bruce Bauer (Debbie) and their daughter Heather; Dianne Dammeier (Dave) and their children Murray, Heather, Jonathan and Timothy; Darlene Hartman (Paul) and their children Gregory, Pamela and Angela; Donna McGaghey (Bob) and their children Noel and Emily; Rosemary Deitch (Jim) and their children Alison and Jeremy; Pat Collins (Dan) and their children Katie, Christie and Megan; Jake Bauer (Nancy) and Chaz Bauer. Loved step-mother of Joel Wideman (Darlene) and their children Benjamin and Samantha; Deric Wideman (Fiona) and their children Nathan, Heather and Jennifer; Mary Chowan (Don) and their children Stefanie and Ashley; Tina Hanley (Mike) and their children Kyle, Matthew and Jeremy. Also survived by her special 9 great grandchildren; brother Gerald Meyer (Nina); sister Elaine Brooks (Charlie) and a step-daughter- in- law Val Wideman. Predeceased by her first husband Carl Bauer, her second husband Jim Wideman, stepson Andy Wideman, brother Donny Meyer and sister Marie Kaehler. Gloria's family will receive friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Parish Prayers will be recited Wednesday evening at 7 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at 1 pm from St. Louis RC Church in Waterloo with Rev. Chris Buda C.R. officiating. Cremation will follow. Friends and relatives are invited to the church hall immediately following the funeral mass for a reception.
