Obituary of Hilde Seiler

Passed away peacefully, with family praying by her side, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at the age of 75. Beloved wife of Ludwig Seiler for 55 years. Loving mother of Monica Ross (Robert), Linda Bennett (Michael), Sylvia Meadus (Paul), and Anita Callan (Steve). Loving Oma to Jason (Dana), Jonathan, Angela (Alan), Daniel, Dustin, Christian, Nathaniel, Carrie (Nick), Hollie (Trevor), Jenna, Jessica, Kyle and Gros-Oma to Trystan, Benjamin, and Abigail. Dear sister of Gerda Schummer and Else Henkel (Johann) of Germany and sister-in-law of Nettie Dannemann and Eka Dannemann. Predeceased by brothers, Enno, Theodore, and Heinrich and brother-in-law, Klaus Schummer. Hilde was a member of the Schwaben Club for over 40 years and a member of the Christian Fellowship Church in Waterloo. The Seiler family will receive friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, December 16 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Mike Rattee and Pastor Kurt Fischer officiating. Interment will follow at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. A reception for family and close friends will follow at the funeral home.
