My deepest condolences to the Pett Family. As I received the news, of Toodie's departure, my heart went out to all of you. I still remember when her late husband left this world, and I being all of eleven was at his memorial, bearing witness to the deep emotion and sense of loss that the Pett family was afflicted. To this day I can still remember Barry, in tears recounting his love for his grandfather's "best damned peppered eggs" you'd ever have. And even though my memories of him are faint, much less so are my memories of Toodie. Often thinking she had a bit of an odd name, that never seemed to dampen the love and warmth I was exposed to when she was around. The sort of feeling only a grandma can bestow I suppose. May God shine His face upon you in this time of sadness, remembering and cherishing this sweet woman. Cast your burdens upon the Lord, for he shall sustain you.

I mourn the loss of my dearest friend "Marge", but I am Relieved she no longer suffers. For 75 years, she was a true, devoted friend; always there for me through the good times, & the not so good times. She kept our Elmwood class mates together. She will be remembered as a "Real People Person. Rest well my friend !

My deepest sympathy to all of the family. Marg was like a mother to me when I was starting my career in nursing and marriage and I called her my "Ontario Mom" as I had no family in Ontario for many years. She was loved by all of my family and I will think of her often. She was a wonderful nurse and her greatest love was always her two boys and their families.
