Linda Galvin

Obituary of Linda Galvin

Passed away at her residence in Sarnia on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at the age of 43. Special and cherished Aunt to Allen and James Sylvestre of Sudbury. Amazing and thoughtful sister to Debra Sylvestre of Sudbury; Jon, Susie, and Marcella of Kitchener-Waterloo; Sharon of Toronto, and David (partner, Lin) of Hamilton. Predeceased by her mother, Sarah Bernice McFadden, and her father, William Marcel Sylvestre. Linda "enjoyed being in her element close to water" and loved to travel. She had a lifelong passion for photography and film art. Linda's nephews, James and Allen, were a strong source of pride for Linda. Linda was always devoted to her family and friends. Linda- I once basked under the warm glow of the Jamaican sun and rode freely through its quaint back-road villages on a moped. I once sank my toes into the soft, gentle stretches of sand along the Caribbean coastline. I once swam with dolphins in the sparkling blue waters of the Pacific Ocean. I once floated effortlessly with the gentle waves as I gazed at the soft, billowy clouds. I once trekked my way from the eastern seaboard to the west coast of the United States. I once had dreams. You will remain in our hearts forever. Rest in peace and know that we love you. We will miss you and we will cherish the fond memories we shared with you. A funeral service will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. Condolences for the family and donations to the MS Society may be arranged through the funeral home at www.erbgood.com or 519-745-8445.
