Obituary of Fred Stanbury

Passed away peacefully at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on December 30, 2011, age 84. Loving husband of the late Aleda Stanbury (nee Bearinger), July 2011. Dear father of Paul and his wife Elizabeth and cherished grandchildren Sara and Sherry. Predeceased by his parents William and Lillian Stanbury; brother of Harold and Carl Stanbury, Maxine Fitz and Edith Sigmond. Fred was a member of Bridgeport United Church. He spent many of his working years as a truck and tractor mechanic and in retirement repairing small engines. Friends are invited to share their memories of Fred with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday January 4, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment will follow at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. A reception will be held in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home.
