It's hard to believe you have been gone for a year. The nights are quiet and lacking good laughs. I remember finding out it was your birthday. Matt, Josh, Jon and I bought a cake and decided it was time to celebrate! We played poker all afternoon and had some great laughs. I will always treasure that day!

It was perhaps 1983 and Don was living in an independant living center near Fairview Mall. My daughter, Elana and I had been at the movie Flashdance. When we came out of the theatre who did we see but Don....making his wheelchair dance around the parking lot, he was so inspired by the music in the movie which he'd seen as well. It was amazing!

Uncle Donny... You will always be remembered as I reflect on my childhood time with you. Taking you out for walks while playfully suggesting a quick ride down the hill... you always made me laugh as you played along.
