Obituary of Robert Oberholzer

Peacefully left our presence on February 3, 2012, at the K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, at the age of 78, to join his beloved wife of 53 years, Sheila (nee McCormick) Devoted father of Heather Rich (Joe), Sue Edwards (Dave), Robert (Chris), Alan (Laurie) and Dale (Sheila). Cherished Papa of Krystel, Holly, Justin, Rhiannon, Declan, Sheila, Aaron, Adam, Amber, and Kaitlyn, Great-Papa of Madison, Sawyer, and Brooklyn. Lovingly remember by his brother Don and sister Rose. Predeceased by his parents Fred and Rose (nee Dorsch), 1 sister and 6 brothers. Bob was a proud and active member of the Royal Canadian Legion and a member of St. Louis RC Church. Friends are invited to share their memories of Robert with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Monday, February 6 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers will be held at 7:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Louis RC Church, 53 Allen St. E., Waterloo on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Daniel Lobsinger CR as celebrant. A reception will immediately follow the mass at the Royal Canadian Legion, Waterloo Branch 530.
