Anne was a wonderful friend for many, many years. Though we were summertime cottagers we sought her out often. Always, she greeted us with a warm smile and hug. Her perch on the hill was peaceful, a happy place where we'd share tea while we watched life unfold across the green field, beyond the old horse barn and boat house down Crane Lake. It was so inviting and beautiful; a piece of heaven. Anne had a green thumb that surpassed most anyone's we know. Her flower gardens were glorious, full of huge, fragrant, perfect blooms we'd talk about with wonder. She seemed as surprised by their beauty as we were but we knew it was her magic that made them so lovely. We shared books with her and liked chatting about them. It's been hard since she moved to Kitchener because we have missed her so much. The news of her passing brings feelings of deep sorrow as we regret we can't continue to share special times together and benefit from her wisdom. But, we will always feel her closeness through the happy memories we carry with us. We send our condolences to her wonderful family who have always been at her side. They are angles.

I was sad to hear of Anne's passing, but how fortunate she was surrounded by her loved ones. I have so many great memories of your mom ... her hospitality second to none ... and a great sense of humour. She was a real gem. Barry and I are very much thinking of you all, and will keep you close in our hearts.
