We knew Tess through her employer, the Basic Bulk healthfood store at the Frederick Mall, and there was a time some years ago when Cynthia worked alongside Tess. We would always stop in to chat with Tess, even if we had no food needs that day. Sometimes it was to compare maladies, sometimes to talk about travel in Europe, sometimes to talk astrology or news. She was dear and sweet and special to both of us in many ways. It is a shock to learn of her passing. Godspeed.

Have many memories of Tess& am very saddened for your loss. A dear lady who patiently fed my daughter TAI & I as well as taught & demonstrated the specialty foods explaining the health benefits. An excellent teacher!! She excelled as a Mother & always focused on her children. Tess was creative-checked with her to get an opinion about colour tone when we were re-roofing. I have the beautiful gift-decorative box with lid from my surprise birthday gathering-a place to keep my special memories + a reminder of Tess when I look at it. Many hugs to you all...
