Obituary of Robert Thiessen

Bob passed away very suddenly as the result of a heart attack on Tuesday, February 14, 2012, at the age of sixty. He is survived by his best friend and loving wife Marilyn (Neibert). Bob was a proud father to Brook and his wife Joanna and Ian, all of Waterloo. Cedar and Aurora, his two beloved grandchildren, loved their "Bob". He is fondly remembered by his sisters, Betty Dwyer of Kitchener, Carol Thiessen (Geoff Scotton) of Calgary and Ruth Thiessen (John Ladouceur) of Toronto; mother-in-law Anne Neibert of Waterloo; sister-in-law Caroline (Simon) Davis of Toronto and brother-in-law Bob Neibert (Barb) of Port Carling. There are many nieces and nephews who have special memories of Uncle Bob. Tux, his four- legged best friend will miss him dearly. Bob was predeceased by his parents Elvera (Reimer) and Gerhard Thiessen and his father-in-law Frank Neibert. A Celebration of Bob's Life will take place at an Open House at the Hacienda Sarria, 1254 Union Street, Kitchener on Sunday, February 26, 2012 from 1pm - 4pm.
