Obituary of Audrey Eichholz

Passed away, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at the age of 75. Predeceased by her beloved husband Fred in 2009, Audrey is survived by sons Tim of Saskatoon; Steven (Janet) of Waterloo. Gramma to Sarah, Katie and Rachel; Melissa and Maggie. Sadly missed by her sister Betty (Bren) McKinnon; brothers Herman (Muriel) Luft; Albert (Dorothy) Luft; Bill (Shirley) Luft; and Bob (Nancy) Luft; sister-in-law Stella Martin; Brother-in-law Carl (June) Eichholz. All the nieces and nephews who brought joy to Audrey's life. Predeceased by her parents, Herman and Eleanor (nee Riehl), Sister Esther and brother-in-law Amzi. Fondly remembered by Patty, Marty, John, Ryan and Andy & Doug. Sadly missed by June Eichholz; her sister in law; best friend; inner strength; faith partner until the very end… and beyond. Spending her childhood in Kitchener in a fun-filled home of seven children, Audrey and Fred wed and settled Waterloo to raise their family. Audrey was a member of numerous choirs through her life; sharing joy; most recently at St. James Lutheran in St. Jacobs. Audrey's life was family; laughter; singing, music and so many things that brought joy. Friends are invited to share their memories of Audrey with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home on Monday, February 27, 2012 from 7- 9 pm and Tuesday, February 28 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church, 22 Willow Street, Waterloo on Wednesday, February 29 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Parkview Cemetery and a reception will be held in the church hall.
