Obituary of Auguste Kientopf

Passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, March 5, 2012, in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Kientopf (1983) and the late Theodor Hein (1943). She will be sadly missed by her son Edgar Hein (Dorothy) and daughter Ingrid Drung (Harry). Loving Grandma to Diane Locke (Mark) and Oma to Thomas and Alexander; cherished Great-Grandma to Madison and Ethan. Dear Tante to Willi, Helmut, Ilga, Joan, Erika and their families. Predeceased by her parents Herman and Auguste Ristau; three brothers and three sisters. Auguste was a long time member of Bethel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Kitchener. She was an assistant chef at K-W Hospital for 20 years. Many would remember Auguste for her wonderful cooking talents. Friends are invited to share their memories of Auguste with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 from 7- 9 p.m. Private interment St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Kitchener. The memorial service will be held at Bethel Evangelical Lutheran Church, 47 Sheldon Ave. N., Kitchener, on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 11 a.m. with Rev.Walter Hambrock and Rev. W. Gillissie as officiants. A reception to follow in the church hall.
