Obituary of George Weber
Passed away peacefully with family by his side on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at St. Mary's General Hospital in Kitchener.
George was a resident, along with Vera, at Parkwood Mennonite Home. They farmed all their lives in the Waterloo area and are faithful members of Erb St. Mennonite Church.
Loving husband of Vera Weber (nee Martin). Dear father of Ron and his wife Mary of Palmerston, Bruce and his wife Dale of Mennonite Corners; father of the late Joan Weber and grandpa of the late Isaac Weber.
Grandpa to Janelle (Tim) Burnham, Tavis (Heidi Brubacher) Weber, Carrie (Jeff) Klemp, Andrew (Erin) Weber, Josh (Jill) Weber and Tessa Weber; great grandpa to Eden, Violet, Jonah, Ellie, Emma, Keegan, Bree, Madison and Cora.
Predeceased by brothers, Arthur, Oliver and Samuel Weber and sisters Alice Snyder, Tilly Hunsberger, Clara Snyder and Florence Weber.
The Weber family will receive relatives and friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, March 9 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
The funeral service to celebrate George's life and faith will take place on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Erb St. Mennonite Church, 131 Erb St. W., Waterloo with Rev. Eleanor Epp-Stobbe officiating. Reception to follow in the church hall with interment in Erb St. Mennonite Cemetery at 4:30 p.m.
