Obituary of Wayne Rehkopf

Passed away peacefully with close family members present at his home in Waterloo on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at the age of 72. Loving husband of Lynn; devoted father of Lisa Parker (Leon), Blaine Rehkopf (Ryan) and Taryn Latimer (Greg). Cherished grandfather of Matthew, Katie, Carly and Alex. Wayne is also survived by his sister, Debbie Egli (Bruno); brother, Brian Rehkopf (Vivienne) and sister-in-law, Edna Rehkopf. Lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Keith Rehkopf and by his parents, Carl and Ruby Rehkopf. Wayne worked for many years at Brolain Distributors before his retirement in December of 2009. Friends are invited to share their memories of Wayne with his family during a memorial reception at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Monday, March 12, 2012 from 3-5 p.m., with a eulogy to be given by long-time friend, Bruce Radke at 4 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
