Obituary of Marie Karn

Marie was born in Kitchener on July 15, 1922 and passed away at St. Mary's General Hospital, Kitchener on Friday, March 09, 2012, in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Roy Karn; loved mother of Donald and Della Karn of Maryhill and Larry and Marion Karn of Owen Sound; cherished grandma of Nicholas, Matthew, and Jason Karn, and Julie Mielke (Chris); loving Oma of Jessica and Rachael Mielke and dear sister-in-law of Gerald Karn, Marjorie, and Irleen Karn. Marie was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Waterloo Royal Canadian Legion Branch 530 for over 50 years. Predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Agnes Sauer (Hess) and a brother William Sauer and his wife Anne. Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday March 13 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A memorial service to celebrate Marie's life and faith will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 11 a.m. A reception will follow at the Waterloo Royal Canadian Legion.
