Obituary of Sandra Audas
Sandra Audas died on Thursday, March 8, 2012, at Grand River Hospital, after a valiant battle with cancer.
She is lovingly remembered by her sons, Brodie and Tyler Clemens, her beloved husband Robert Audas; his two sons, Geoffrey and Timothy; her parents, Margaret (Rita) and David Millar; her siblings: Marilyn, Caroline, David and Patricia. Sandra was predeceased by her brother Gordon.
After working as a nurse in Scotland, Sandra emigrated to Toronto in her early 20's. She had a diverse work life culminating for the last 10 years in proudly working at Woolwich Community Health Centre, most recently as Operations Assistant. Staff at the Woolwich Community Health Centre deeply valued Sandra for her good-natured willingness to tackle any new challenge, and her dedication to her job. Outside of work, two of her passions were set dancing with Blair Scottish Country Dancers, and meeting with her book club. She will be deeply missed by her family, her colleagues and her community friends.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Sandra with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo on Thursday, March 15th, 2012 from 6 - 8p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 16th at 1 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with Anna Hemmendinger, officiating. Cremation will take place and a private interment will follow. The family is most appreciative of the care Sandra received from staff at Grand River Hospital.
Condolences for the family and donations to Grand River Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy and may be arranged through the funeral home at www.erbgood.com or 519-745-8445.
